BE STILL MY HEART
Kim West's Home Tour
Interior Designer and co-owner of SUPPLY showroom, Kim West has a way with interiors and we were thrilled to see her home tour on Camille Styles. It's full of unexpected detail and refined whimsy. There are a number of NI moments in Kim's home, but don't the HAY AAC22 chairs and Menu Around Coffee Table in particular just make your heart sing??

Introducing Abel Perfumes
NI LOOKBOOK
Apothecary Goods
Not to toot our own horn or anything, but we often hear "It smells amazing in here," when a customer enters our shop. This is not an accident -- we think of scent as an under-appreciated design element.
If you think about it--smell is the first sense to fire up when you walk into a space. There's an emotional element tied to it that creates a memory, tied to an experience--it's a delight to your senses. We've curated a collection of apothecary goods fit for both the novice and the well-rounded scent snob, and everyone in between. Apothecary goods should feel good on your skin, delight your senses, have real ingredients, and look beautiful on the surfaces of your home...shout out to the Void Neue Incense Burner that acts as a sculptural piece when not in use.
NATURAL PERFUME
Introducing Abel
We knew we wanted to bring in a perfume line, but it needed to be something we believed in. Enter Abel. Following a failed search for a natural perfume that was chic, modern and long lasting. Abel was founded in Amsterdam by New Zealander Frances Shoemack with a simple goal - to create the world’s best natural perfume. Rather than clouding your personality with a consistent intensity, the beauty of all natural ingredients is that they’ll evolve on your skin, working with your natural body chemistry to create a unique scent. One that will continually evolve throughout the day. Abel lives on your skin, until it fades away.

FROM FRANCE
Afternoon Tea
Teas from Mariage Frères are such an indulgence. I love slowing down and sipping one of their perfectly perfumed blends. My personal favorite is Vert Provence, which blends grassy green tea with mellow lavender and the sweetness of dried rose petals.

GIFT GUIDE
FOR THE DESIGN LOVER
Well designed and thoughtful tools are what we love here at Nannie Inez. I mean, why carry a "regular" water bottle when there's the Sowden bottle out there for your sipping pleasure. I will be taking my box store office scissors and putting them directly into the trash now that I have the rainbow/lucite sheers! We've pulled a few of our design forward pieces that we think your graphic design loving friend/family member will love this holiday season.

FOR THE FOLIA
Originally designed in the early 1930s, the Lyngby vase is such a design icon and looks just as modern today as it did back then. We love it with simple blooms and cut greens. Might we say it's quite photogenic too?
Above: A pretty pair in amber and blue hues.
TEA PLEASE
If you are't already a devotee of Marriage Freres Tea, you don't know what you are missing. Our favorite blend is Vert Provence which combines green tea leaves with dried rose and lavender. But for you decadent flavor lovers, we'd suggest Wedding Imperial, a blend of black tea with chocolate and caramel.
Above: Morning magic. Marriage Freres tea and HAY teapot (shown in grey).
NEW FROM HAWKINS NY
Organic Dinnerware
A very new arrival at Nannie Inez, we are loving Hawkins New York's new Organic Dinnerware collection. A study in fluid forms, each piece lands somewhere between shapes; neither fully square, nor exactly circular, either. Each piece is hand-painted in a choice of three colors: white, grey, and blush pink. With natural variations in form and finish, the collection is as pleasing to the touch as it is to the eye.

Small Business Saturday
NANNIE INEZ 2018
Small Business Saturday
We seriously have the best customers and we appreciate your curiosity, your love for design and we deeply, deeply appreciate your support. There would be no Nannie Inez if it wasn't for you and for that, we are incredibly grateful. Small businesses contribute 3.5x more to the local economy and here at Nannie Inez our web of local support goes beyond our onsite team of 5 to the local contractors and vendors that we work with for photography, design work, visual merchandising, printing, bookkeeping and tech support...just to name a few. We're proud to be part of that ever-growing and changing ecosystem.
To acknowledge Small Business Saturday is also a wonderful opportunity to send out a huge amount of gratitude to our small but mighty team including Heather, Kaley, Rebecca and Shana. These ladies rock and I don't know what I would do without them. I am constantly blown away by how much we are able to accomplish. Hardly a day goes by that I don't hear the words, "omg, how it is already 3 o'clock" as the days just fly by. I'm thankful for all their hard work, dedication and commitment to our mission and customers- and they're pretty fun to work with.
Although I don't consider Nannie Inez a retailer in a traditional sense, we are a retail design shop and we can't thank you enough for your business. We'll see you soon.
