Meltdown
Multidisciplinary designers Lemon have teamed up with artist Ronelle Pienaar Jenkin to create a series of striking portrait and still-life’s. Meltdown centers around our psychology state – thoughts, behaviors and ways of being, Jenkin’s unique ability to capture emotion through the simplicity of black ink on paper comes to the fore.
Dimensions — 19.7" W × 27.6" L (50 × 70 cm)
Materials — 200g uncoated, FSC certified, acid-free paper. Produced in Denmark under the Swan certification system.

Meltdown is a Paper Collective print by South African artist Ronelle Pienaar Jenkin. The narratives center around psychology – human thoughts, behaviors, ways of being in the world and the congruence between these things. Her work across the mediums of ink, watercolor and oils deal with themes such as humor, pride, sanctimony, obscenity and irreverence. Jenkin’s collection for Paper Collective has been curated by long time collaborators, South African multi-disciplinary studio Lemon.
